Pat’s writing is part of our family’s life. Today, her husband and children work together to share her hymns and devotional poetry with others through Heritage Press.
Peter Dys
After nearly sixty years of marriage to Pat, Peter now helps bring her writing to new readers. He looks after the direction and finances of Heritage Press, drawing on more than forty years of leadership at Shell Point. The compassion, service, and faith that guided that work are also at the heart of his care for Pat’s literary and musical legacy.
Lorilynn Hogsed
An educator, musician, and mother of five, Lori has often turned to her mother’s writing to teach children through music. She brings that experience and her love of hymnody to editing Pat’s words for publication. Alongside her work with Heritage Press, church ministry and mentoring young mothers remain an important part of her life.
Amy Torrans
Amy home-educated her three children, with Pat’s music woven into their family’s daily life and worship. As she prepares the books’ format and design, she brings both a reader’s and a parent’s care to the pages other families will share. She also gives her time to her local church, particularly its children’s ministry.
Jeremiah Dys
Jeremy lives with his wife and their four sons. His work as an attorney focuses on First Amendment freedoms, and he is also a public speaker. At Heritage Press, he lends that experience to the care of his mother’s work, contributing legal counsel and helping with content as the family prepares her writing for readers.
