Information we collect and use

When you subscribe, we collect your email address, selected interests and confirmation records to send the updates you request. You must confirm your address before joining the list. You can unsubscribe in any email.

When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, topic and message to respond. Contacting us does not subscribe you to updates.

Our hosting and form-security services process IP addresses, browser details and temporary security identifiers to operate the site and prevent abuse.

Service providers

MTRX Presence supports the website and email service. Cloudflare hosts the site, stores requests and protects forms with Turnstile. Resend delivers email. These providers receive information needed for their services and may process it outside your country. See the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Analytics and your choices

Google Analytics uses cookies, device and browser information, approximate location and traffic-source tags to measure visits and actions such as book views, sample opens, form submissions and Amazon-link clicks. We do not send form contents to Google Analytics. Read how Google collects and uses this information.

Analytics starts after a notice in selected regions where prior consent is not required. Elsewhere, or if your region is unknown, we ask first. You can turn analytics off in Cookie settings in the footer. A saved rejection or Global Privacy Control signal keeps it off. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals.

Analytics cookies and your saved choice last up to 180 days. Google’s user and event data retention is two months. Turning analytics off stops future collection without deleting earlier data. Security services may also use cookies or browser storage.

We do not use advertising cookies, sell personal information, or share it for targeted advertising.

Amazon purchases

Amazon handles book purchases and payments under its own privacy policy. Some links use Amazon Attribution to report purchases associated with those links. We do not receive payment details or individual order histories.

Retention and privacy requests

We keep subscription records while you are subscribed. Other records are kept as needed to respond to requests, operate the services and meet legal obligations. Old unconfirmed subscriptions and resolved requests are removed through routine cleanup.

Depending on your location, you can request access, correction, deletion or a portable copy of your personal information, and appeal our response. Contact us or use the email address below. We may verify your identity. We do not penalize you for exercising your rights.

Children

Our forms are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Please contact us if a child has provided personal information.

Changes

We post updates here with a revised date. We announce significant changes on the site or notify affected readers by email.
